Artopia for Big Bend Cares - SS

SAVE THE DATE! The 12th Annual Artopia Art Auction, Artopia 2010—Moving to the Museum!, will be held Saturday, June 26! This year's event will, for the very first time, be held at the Mary Brogan Museum of Art and Science! Please join us for a very special evening of art, fun and fellowship!

We share this as part of our mission to Support Sisters. We're so very proud to know Perry (Beta Eta, FSU) makes a difference through her work at Big Bend Cares!

"Big Bend Cares provides education and comprehensive support to people infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS."

Not only ETE & MTM President, but Star Mom too!

Many congratulations to our president Amy Z (Zeta Upsilon, Case Western Reserve University) on winning Volunteer of the Month at DeSoto Trail Elementary School. Seriously, the woman is a Monday-morning staple and more. Read about it here: http://365thruamyseyes.blogspot.com/2010/05/volunteer-of-month.html. Definitely a Real.Strong.Woman. - AXΩ style!

P.S. Amy shares her talents across AXΩ as an avid tweeter, CA listserv contributor, ETE president, http://groups.yahoo.com/group/axoete/, MTM president, http://axomtm.squarespace.com/, and is the 3rd Alternate Delegate for our NPC Delegation http://www.alphachiomega.org/index.aspx?id=36

Congratulations to the FSU Graduates!

Thirty-nine young women became Beta Eta alumnae as the FSU spring semester came to a close on April 30th, 2010. Epsilon Tau Epsilon hosted three Hall of Commitment ceremonies to accommodate all their busy schedules! Here are the 20+ young women from the first one, which was held on Sunday, April 11th.

At the close of the semester we held two make-up ceremonies and were so glad we got to celebrate these young women moving from their collegiate years to alumnae membership:

And we never want a collegian to miss our our our special Third Degree of Initiation, so we held another ceremony to honor a collegian who couldn't make the previous two events. We love Hall of Commitment and think it vital to taking our women from collegians to productive and proud alumnae!
